ABOUT FULTON PUBLIC LIBRARY
A librarian's basic mandate is to connect patrons with the information they need. Maintaining an appropriate collection in a variety of formats is essential to what we do, but our major role is to assist customers in an efficient, helpful, and indispensable way. We strive to be an important part of the community, and want our patrons to become lifelong users of libraries, wherever they live.

Each patron deserves the best response we can provide, regardless of the age of the patron or type of inquiry. If our Library does not have the necessary resources, we will attempt to find them elsewhere. Good customer service is the core goal of the reference department and outweighs all other duties in importance.
